Frankly Speaking

Hello, and welcome to the Abyss.
I just had a telephone conversation with a lady friend of mine. She considers me her therapist, counselor, and adviser. I never thought of myself as a therapist or counselor. I have been told that I am a "good" listener and, in my opinion, an objective adviser is the opposite side of the same coin.
I have noticed a defensive verbal stance when I attempt to define a point or topic within our subject of discussion. She lashes out at me, in my opinion of course, by saying, "GEEZE! You are hard to talk to!"
Ironically she has told me on several occasions that I am able to explain things simply and precisely.
I must admit that she paints herself into a verbal corner and I do not help the situation by blocking her escape routes until she has no recourse but to go right through me. I say "We are all adults here. We should be able to have disagreements in a civil manner!".
End of discussion.
She gets over it and the next morning or a few hours later, depending on the velocity of her "escape" everything is hunky-dory. This is one of qualities that I truly value in my friend--She does not hold grudges.
I am wondering, "Do professional therapists and counselors experience this sort of attack?" I would venture to say that professional counselors "see" the painted corner coming and take the nearest exit. What do you think?

The Function

The Function;
e.g.
Consciousness and Chaos Creates Reality
or
Reality(Consciousness,Chaos)

Consciousness and Chaos are the opposite sides of the same metaphysical coin. This coin can be thought of as a metaphysical digital processor (MDP). The interaction between the two sides i.e., the interface, of this MDP is what creates or gives rise to the illusion of our virtual reality.
In theology this is known as the struggle between "Good and Evil". Friedrich Nietzsche contemplated this phenomenon and realized that when you look into the Abyss, the Abyss also looks into you. Each side is looking at the other, and sees in the other, its own potential for becoming the other. This is the discombobulating aspect of looking into the Abyss, because you are looking into your other self. In the book of Job in the Hebrew bible, God looks into the abyss i.e., the devil, and the devil convinces God to allow calamities to visit Job. God becomes the Devil. Incredulously, and indirectly, God admits that he was wrong in Job 42.7.
In physics this struggle is known as the electromagnetic theory. Like charges repel and unlike charges attract. Is this just a coincidence? Opposite charges are attracted to each other, and want to be with the other. As positive holes travel toward negatively charged regions, when they arrive, they become negative relative to the area they came from. It is all relative as Einstein proved.
There are many more examples to contemplate: in business, in government, in mathematics, in sociology, etc.; if you do not like these three examples. Can you think of
another example?

Knowing this, do you suppose there is way to evaluate the function Reality(Consciousness,Chaos)? Why would we want to do this? Well, that is something that only you can answer for yourself.

What would the algorithm for virtual reality include? I think that this algorithm would contain more algorithms. It would contain an algorithm for the tangible, an algorithm for the intangible, and a function data(Consciousness,Chaos). These algorithms would contain other algorithms. The algorithm for energy would be nested within the algorithm for the intangible. I am speaking of course in a strictly "set theory" sense. Functionally speaking, algorithms may be located anywhere regardless of sense and necessity.

Do you suppose that this is the way that the function Reality(Consciousness,Chaos) exists; without redundancy and superfluous entries? We are not perfect and nature is not perfect. Is the cosmos perfect? Perhaps the more applicable question to ask is this; "Is Consciousness and Chaos perfect?" Are you beginning to sense the irrelevancy of perfection? Consciousness and Chaos just manifest i.e., just exist. Perfection is a value judgment projected onto the function Reality(Consciousness,Chaos).

But perhaps more mysteriously, where would this algorithm for virtual reality "exist"? Is this algorithm just another illusion of the interaction between Chaos and Consciousness, i.e., from the journey of the metaphysical digital bits?
